Anthony Mickens | Executive Directors
A San Francisco native, Anthony joins Seven Tepees with more than 30 years of experience working with and leading a variety of youth-serving organizations dedicated to improving the lives of youth and families in San Francisco's underserved neighborhoods. Like many of our youth and nearly all of our staff, he is the first in his family to graduate college.
Anthony most recently served as the Director of Programs for the college-access nonprofit, First Graduate, scaling up core programming to improve college access outcomes for aspiring first-generation students in San Francisco. Prior to First Graduate, he worked at the John W. Gardner Center for Youth and Their Communities, Stanford School of Education, and San Francisco Conservation Corps.
Allison Frost Macari | Development Director
Allison Frost Macari is from Denver, CO and has been working in the Bay Area since 2012. She began her role as the Development Director for Seven Tepees in August 2019. Allison comes to the organization with seven years of fundraising experience, and even more years supporting nonprofits. She has a Master’s Degree in Arts Administration with a certificate in Fundraising. Allison joined the team with a desire to advance the organization’s unique and inspiring mission by building new connections and strengthening existing relationships.
Arlan Murillo | Program Director
Arlan Murillo is originally from Managua Nicaragua. He moved to the bay area as a teeenager. His personal experiences as an immigrant and first generation college graduate has allowed him to better support and understand the community he serves After graduating from the University of Oregon he worked in various positions as a youth and community advocate. in over a decade of dedication to Seven Tepees he has seen first hand the positive impact this organization has had on hundreds of youth and families.
Jewelea Rivas |
College and Career Readiness Director
Jewelea Rivas was born and raised in San Francisco's Mission District. During her upbringing, she was fortunate enough to be involved with many community based organizations, one of them being Seven Tepees. Through the College and Career Center at her high school, Seven Tepees advisors provided mentorship and guidance through the college application process. She went on to obtain a B.A. in Comparative Ethnic Studies at Cal Poly SLO. After graduation, she was hired by Seven Tepees in 2014, Jewelea found an organization that matched her personal mission. Through her role as the College and Career Readiness Director, Jewelea's focus is to continue strengthening the program so that Seven Tepees can continue to be a place where youth, and emerging adults, from this community can feel supported and loved.

Middle School Program Manager
Mentor Program Coordinator
Elsa Ramos is a San Francisco native, and a first-generation student who graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Latin American and Latino Studies with a minor in Education. She has worked with youth for over nine years and has committed her career to advocating for educational equity and access to opportunities for all youth, and to supporting youth on their journeys to creating their own paths for success. Elsa serves as the Middle School Program Manager and Mentor Program Coordinator at Seven Tepees where she oversees Middle School youth programming, facilitates the Mentoring Program, supports as the Outdoor Education Lead, and collaborates with school partners and families as the 6th grade Case Manager.
Susana Duran |
Middle School and Family Engagement Coordinator
Susana Metztli Duran is a San Francisco native. She attended Seven Tepees Youth Program when she was in high school and received all of the benefits the organization had to offer. Through her experience in Seven Tepees she knew she wanted to make an impact in her community. She decided to obtain a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Community Change and a Minor in Mexican-American Studies from San Jose State University. Now back in her native community, she has gained the tools necessary to give back to the organization that watched her grow.
Rosa Guzman | High School Program Manager
Rosa is a Bay Area native who has been a youth worker across the Bay Area as well as internationally for nearly 10 years. She holds a B.A. in Anthropology from UC Berkeley and an M.A. in Applied Anthropology and Youth Work from Goldsmiths, University of London. Her love for youth work and out-of-school programs led her to Seven Tepees. Rosa currently manages the high school program at Seven Tepees, as well as case manages the 9th and 10th grade classes.
Danielle Payton | College and Career Readiness Coordinator
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Danielle studied Liberal Arts at Sonoma State University, and was the 1st in her family to obtain a Bachelor's degree. Because of her passion to ensure all 1st generation students have access to a college education and the ability to expand their minds, Danielle began working in youth programs shortly after graduation. With 4 years of youth experience, Danielle is a passionate community advocate and organizer in Oakland and San Francisco, bringing the perspective of community liberation and self determination into her youth-work praxis. In her personal time, Danielle studies Buddhism, is a certified Reiki practitioner, works with plants, and is an artist working in mediums of film photography, acrylic painting, sumi ink, and poetry.
Sasha Levine, LMFT | Counseling Program Director
Sasha Levine is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist who has dedicated her time and care to the Seven Tepees community since February of 2013. Sasha studied Clinical Psychology at SFSU graduating in 2012 and she has supported youth with their social emotional wellbeing in different environments for over 15 years. As the Counseling Program Director at Seven Tepees, Sasha provides individual and group counseling, crisis management, consultation for case managers, and clinical supervision for two counseling associates onsite in addition to working as a School Counselor for a K-8th school in San Rafael and meeting with private practice clients. Sasha is passionate about watching youth connect deeper with their true selves, with their community and with the natural world, and developing into healthy, confident, and authentic adults.
Rooben Morgan | Academic Program Coordinator
Rooben morgan is the Academic Program Coordinator, a seasoned educator who has been working in afterschool programs for more than two decades now.At Seven Tepees, he is working on academic intervention and strategies to help our youth succeed in school and beyond.
Andrew Galicia | Office Manager
Hailing from Ventura Co., Andrew moved to the bay area to go San Francisco State University and received a degree in Political Science. Since then he has worked for and volunteered in a variety of institutions in an operational capacity including the Office of Nancy Pelosi, Goldman Sachs, City and County of San Francisco, and is now the office manager here at Seven Tepees Youth Program.
